About SPaRC
Sponsored Programs and Research Compliance (SPaRC) is a comprehensive working group devoted to the management and administration of sponsored programs and open to all who wish to participate. The working group provides central and departmental administrative staff a platform to exchange and disseminate information related to the support of the sponsored portfolio. The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Innovation supports SPaRC.
Members of the SPaRC community meet on a quarterly basis to discuss topics in research administration, updates on policies and procedures, and upcoming events and opportunities.
The SPaRC working group sponsors SPaRC’Ed, which is the sponsored programs and research administration certification series for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
